Access Free Veterinary Care for Stray Cats on Paros

Stray cats in Paros can now receive essential veterinary care — entirely free — through a new municipal program

Are you worried about a stray cat who is sick or injured? Good news — there’s now a free and easy way to get help.

🩺 What’s the program about?

The Municipality of Paros is now offering free veterinary services for stray animals across the island. This includes:

  • Deworming

  • Vaccination

  • Basic veterinary check-up – General blood test

  • Electronic identification

Special cases following approval by the Municipality:

  • X-ray

  • Ehrlichiosis test

  • Ehrlichiosis treatment

  • Biochemical tests by parameter

  • Minor surgical procedures

  • Euthanasia of a terminally ill animal

The goal is to improve stray cat welfare and protect public health.

📞 What do I need to do?

  1. Call the clinic Veterinary Corner to make an appointment.
    Let them know the cat is a stray and that you are calling about the Municipality of Paros program.

  2. Bring the cat to the clinic at the scheduled time.
    The vet team will take it from there and handle all necessary care.

  3. Follow-up care, if needed, will also be arranged through the clinic.

Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

All services under this program are free of charge and funded by the Municipality.

  • Stray cats within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Paros

  • Cats in managed colonies (outdoor cats that are fed and monitored)
